ELIGIBILITY  

• You should be a full-time student at your home university.
• Your home university and Canakkale Onsekiz Mart University  should have a Mevlana Exchange Protocol.
• Your university must nominate you.

TRANSCRIPT
Please obtain your recent transcript in English.

LEARNING PROTOCOL (click here to download)

Please complete the  Learning Protocol, which describes the programme of study abroad. It must be agreed and signed by the individual student, home institution and host institution before the student leaves the home country.  It should be prepared in three original copies, one for host institution, one for home institution and one for the student.

1. Student Application Form with photograph  (1 copy)   

2. Student Information Form (2 copies)    

3. Learning Protocol (3 copies)     

4. Copy of passport (including passport number and id details)

5. Copy of flight ticket

LETTER OF ACCEPTANCE

We will then email and post you an Letter of Acceptance which you may also need for your visa purposes.

COURSE REGISTRATION

• The course registration will take place in beginning of each semester and there is a period for adding and dropping of courses.
• If you need to make changes to your course selection, please complete the Learning Protocol  again. 
• Please also ask for a Student Letter to be issued. You will need it  for the formalities regarding Residence Permit etc.
• They will provide you with a Student Idendity Card.

In case your subjects have been chosen from multiple departments and you are confused about whom your coordinator might be, you can write to mevlanacomu.edu.tr

Once you find your Coordinator, she/he will be like an academic adviser: she/he will provide you academic guidance and monitor your academic development during your exchange experience.

VISA

You definitely require to get a student visa before entering to the country.  After receiving your Letter of Acceptance, please contact the Turkish Consulate in your home country and apply for a Student Visa to Turkey.

RESIDENT PERMIT

All international students in Turkey, regardless of status, must register with the Foreign National departments of the Police Headquarters in Canakkale within a month of the entering Turkey.

FEES & OTHER EXPENCES

As an Mevlana student, you are not required to pay any tuition fee to Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University: registration, exams, access to the library and to the laboratory facilities are absolutely free of charge. 

You do, however, have to pay for your own accommodation, travels, educational materials, insurance and other living expenses. You will continue to pay normal tuition fees to your home institution during the period you study abroad. Any grant or loan which you receive in your home institution may not be discontinued, interrupted or reduced while you are away studying in Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University.
